HTD2230-I2C Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor
Product Overview:
HTD2230-I2C provides OEM customers with accurate and reliable digital measurement methods for temperature and humidity.
HTD2230-I2C itself contains an I2C digital interface, which directly outputs humidity, temperature, dew point, and CRC information after temperature compensation according to the I2C instruction protocol. Users do not need to perform secondary calculations on digital outputs, nor do they need to perform temperature compensation on humidity, in order to obtain accurate temperature and humidity information; The free development kit can be embedded in user code, making it easy for users to master and use sensors.
The special design of the sensor ensures humidity measurement in harsh environments such as high humidity, dust, and dirt, which has significant advantages over similar products.
In environments such as fog, mist, rain, and condensation, as the humidity approaches saturation, the probe becomes insensitive to the surrounding environment after being wetted. Therefore, it becomes very difficult to reliably measure humidity in environments where humidity is close to saturation. For such environments that require exposure, heating, and dehumidification, a sensor heating function has been specifically designed for this purpose. In a normal humidity measurement environment, the default temperature and humidity detection speed is once per second, with a duration of about 125ms each time. At other times, the sensor is in a very low-power standby state. In environments such as fog, mist, rain, and condensation, choose a faster temperature and humidity refresh rate such as full speed (eight times per second). At this time, the sensor microprocessor also runs at full speed, increasing the current consumption to 4-5mA, which is equivalent to continuously heating the surrounding environment of the sensor. As a result, the humidity around the sensor is reduced, which reduces the risk of sensor probe condensation.
For most humidity sensors, it is required to be applied in clean environments or to install special dust covers for the sensors, which invisibly increases the size and cost of the sensors. The HTD2230-I2C circuit adopts special software and hardware design, reducing the impact of dust and dirt to one tenth compared to similar products; At the same time, the sensor itself comes with a dust-proof film, which minimizes the impact of dust and dirt on accurate humidity measurement.
The HTD2230-I2C digital calibration information is stored in the Flash chip. For batch users, open the calibration and calibration function of sensors, and users can use special instructions to perform batch and fast secondary calibration or calibration of sensors.
